The Final Battle is the 27-28th episode of season 4 of Wizards of Waverly Place. It'll air on February 23, 2012.
Plot[]
The final days before the Wizard Competition are here. Alex, Max, and Justin are preparing for the moment that tells all. Professor Crumbs comes by to tell the Russos about the Competition so they can be fully ready. They pack up the Lair and begin to tell each other about how they always awaited this day and now that it's here, they're not so sure. They all hug and tell each other that whatever happens, they'll always stick together, as a family. The next day, they are transported to the Battlefield. Fully ready for this moment, they begin the run for the powers. They each use the elements, and full force for this moment, as they inch closer, and closer, and closer to the magic, they all touch the powers simultaneously, with each Russo kid winning the competition. Professor Crumbs does a ruling, and in his words, ALL Russo children can recieve and keep full magical abilities, and the Russo kids flash out, going home to enjoy their lives as full wizards.
Trivia[]
After the finale, Selena Gomez showed the alternate endings on her Youtube account. The endings are:
- Alex won the competition, her and Mason stayed together, and she moved out of the Russo home to live in an apartment with him. Justin and Juliet had to break up, and he went into a depression. Max was left unaffected.
- Justin won the competition, he stayed with Juliet, and he went on to be one of the most powerful wizards in the Wizard World.
- Max won the competition, he lived blissfully with his powers, and he never wed, as he couldn't marry Talia. There was no successor to the Russo family when he won.
